I am producing a set of book cover posters that commemorate classic albums through the ages. This design is for the Britpop classic (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? by Oasis. Oasis second album was released in and included classic tracks /5(K). The book examines issues such as the historical antecedents of Britpop, the subjectivities governing the performative conventions of Britpop, the cultural context within which Britpop unfolded, and its influence on the post-Britpop music scene in the UK.

The first pages or so of this book are a fantastic, well written and balanced account of the Britpop years, taking into account it's origins with bands like Happy Mondays and The Stone Roses up until the end ofwhen Blur had moved away from their Parklife blueprint, Elastica had all but given up the ghost, Pulp were fighting with demons on Britpop!
